For a lot of people, the new year is the perfect time to start thinking about what they want to wear in 2022. Fashion designers are already hard at work coming up with jewelry trends for Spring 2022 and we're going to take a look at some of them now!
First, let's take a look at the jewelry trends that were popular in 2021. There were a few big ones - like chunky statement necklaces and earrings - that are likely to continue into 2022. However, there will also be some new trends emerging this year.
One of the biggest changes we're seeing is in chokers. True, they have made a big comeback in the last few years, but this year they are coming in with a lot more sparkle. Designers are adding rhinestones, crystals and other shiny embellishments to really make them stand out.
Another big trend for Spring 2022 is mismatched earrings. This look has been popular on the runway for a few seasons now, and it doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. The idea is to pair two different earrings, perhaps a simple stud on one side and a dangle earring or an ear climber on the other. This is a great way to add some interest and fun while still maintaining a professional appearance.
Matching your metals seems to be a thing of the past. Fashion designers are pairing all kinds of different metals including gold, silver and even copper together. The idea is to make them look more interesting by contrasting the colors or textures of each piece.
Take a peek at what's coming out in Paris Fashion Week Spring 2022 for jewelry trends! While many of the pieces we see from Fashion Week every February look like they belong in some sort of Sci-fi film, the ideas can be fun to get inspired and tone down for everyday wear. Fashion trends for spring include a mix of jewelry styles, colors and materials that you probably never thought you'd see together like neon colors, holographic finishes and lots of sparkling stones!
All in all, it looks like 2022 is in for lots of bling - with futuristic styles mixed with some throwback trends. From big chunky chains to chokers to shells and pearls, it looks like we are in for some great trends this year. Which is your favorite?
